For Clint Creedy and his young family, the move to Highland Walloon marks the start of an exciting new chapter and a long-awaited chance to create a place of their own.
Currently living with extended family in a busy household of 10, Clint and his partner Shanyah Ward are preparing to build a home that will give them the space, comfort and independence they’ve been looking for. Alongside their two boys, the family is eager to settle into a home designed for everyday living and growing together.
The family has chosen to build with Bold Living, selecting the four-bedroom Portofino 203 design – a home thoughtfully created for both family life and entertaining. With a seamless flow between the kitchen, dining and alfresco areas, along with a butler’s pantry and separate study, the design offers both practicality and flexibility for modern living.
Having grown up in the local area, Clint, who works in construction, said Highland Walloon felt like a natural choice.
“It just made sense,” he said.
“Being a bit further out, it’s also a more affordable option compared to being closer to the city.”
The family’s new home will sit on a 480-square-metre block, offering more space than many inner-city options.
While building a new home comes with a lot of decisions, Clint said the experience has been both exciting and rewarding so far.
“It’s nice to see the plans coming to life and to be a part of something new,” he said.
“We’ve got quite a few people living together at the moment, so it’ll be great to have our own space.”
With construction expected to begin soon, the family is confident they will be moved in by Christmas.
